    a personnel should try and leave as quickly as they can or if they get stuck talk calmly to the patient and stay away from the door to prevent the patient feeling trapped or cornered.

    Sometimes you panic in them situations even if you have taken proper training. The main thing is not to panic, if possible. Make sure your breathing is normal if not steady it down. Try your best to persuade the person not to do what they're about to even if you do think that there's no point. You won't know unless you try.

    When managing a violent or armed patient you must ; make sure others around are safe and not in danger and find out why the patient is acting so violently and defuse the situation and unarm the patient .
