Is the problem of behavioural disorders genetic and how does the general home/social life impact on this issue ?

From a college stand point, I was just speaking with my faculty about this similar issue. We often spend a great deal of time teaching students about issues, but not how to actually handle or respond to the issue. We set up some of our scenarios for the student to play act, how to respond to specific situations. In nursing for example, lateral violence (eating our young, bullying) is a big topic. We tell them not to do it, but the reality is that it happens all the time. So we teach them how to respond appropriately to a specific situation. We use a great deal of simulation, and skits based on real life situations, Finding the trigger is very important. If basic needs are not being met, then more advanced learning can not occur. For behavioral disorders, the techniques of teaching given are good. Keeping these students busy in some tasks also helps many times.
