    To maintain joint mobility by putting each of the patiens joints through all possible movement's to increase and or maintain movement in each joint to prevent contracture atony insufficient muscular tone and atrophy of muscles to stimulate circulation preventing thrombus and embolus formation to improve coordination to increase tolerance for more activity to maintain and build mucle strengh

    Active exercise are done by the patient,without assistance,to increase strength.Passive exercise are carried out by the nurse without assistance from the patient.passive exercises will not preserve muscle mass and bone mineralisation,lengthening of muscles,or tension of bones

    I couldn't open the module Topic 7 the Exercise for the immobile Patient,I click the Text Version and I read it in there.so I just go ahead and take the second Assistment Test.and I pass it.thanks for Alison Free Courses.
