    The roles that courts plays that enables them perform changes in law is by establishing and adapting new case law principles in giving decisions (i.e. precedent ) . The court law making is secondary to their primary functions which is dispute resolution.We can as well say that they are reactive law makes in the sense that they can only make law when a case arises for decision .
