    Autocratic management style is based purely on dictatorship and the employee has no say so whatsoever.

    It would seem that management that believes the only way to motivate employees is through pay are really loosing out because an inclusive management style which includes the work teams will simply have more skin in the game and want to and to do a good job for the company. Too many companies don't care about employees but still want them to be "loyal" to the company. This seems to me to be a foolish way to operate now seeing that research shows that when employees are brought into the decision making they really do become loyal.

    The autocratic management style will hindet the progress of the organisation in sense that the employees will not be able to exercise their skills in way to help the company grow because the style is do as I say.

    Employees don't take part in decision making since autocratic manager gives task to employ and don't accept feed backs.

    I have worked where this management style is used, and it didn't go down well with the CEO of the organization. He lost his staff, and key partners because of his autocratic general manager. I personally do not think this management style should not be allowed in a work environment were employees are expected to bring in their best.
