    Project Scope is a description of the major tasks that are included in the projects some of the tasks are not specifically not included in the project. More complex project require more detailed and specific scope document. Project scope identify the total work of the project. The project manager will often develop the first draft of the project scope and then solicit the feedback and suggestion from the project team, client and some key vendors. Project scope are not stagnant document and changes are expected to be there to reflect new information and new results represent positive outcome for the organization. Recording and communicating these schedule deviations is important for coordinating resources and maintaining clients awareness of the project progress. To document the changes: inform the project stakeholders of the change request process. The change request process is made in writing including the business value of the project . Enter the request in the project scope logo Estimate the time needed to evaluate the change and record the change in the scope logo. Evaluate the change and its impact on the schedule and budget if the evaluation is approved. Present the change request to the project sponsor for approval. Distribute the scope change logo to project team member periodically. If the change is approved update the charter or initiation project document Update the work plan. Distribute the revised work plan to the project team members and stakeholders. A project scope document is used to provide the project team with the information and the basis it need to design and implement the project plan development. Project scope provide understanding of the purpose of the project and what project succeed would be. The scope document begin as a draft that is circulated for comments by the team, clients and in some cases key vendors. The final draft is approve by the or client project sponsor. Changes to the scope are documented carefully using standard format and processes and approve by the or client project sponsor.
