The project management is the application of the knowledge skills, tools and technique to meet the project requirements or objectives. These are planning, scheduling, managing, coordinating, leading, communicating, reporting, monitoring and controlling. The project management success depend on, project size, project duration, industrial sector, geographic location, number of workers, cost, complexity, urgency and organizational design. However, the project can be created based on budget size, technological uncertainty, and risk management of the below, where the project management success depend on, project size, project duration, industrial sector, geographic location, number of workers, cost, complexity, urgency and organizational design. ________________________________________ Module Module 1: Introduction to Project Management Topic Project Context Product scope are all the things that will be created or delivered. Project scope are all the work that will be done during the project and Total project scope are all the things and works External: These are environmental attribute that are in existence at the beginning of the project such as size, duration in time and available resources. Internal: Are the clarity of project objectives, project scope, the organizational complexity and stakeholder agreement. Technology: the newness of technology and the familiarity of members with the technology. Environment: These cover legal, culture, political and ecological . Project Assumptions: All projects are unique, The project must have common characteristics The characteristics must be grouped to create project profile and the project knowledge, skills, tools, experiences and technique. The project size, duration in time and available resources can make project succeed. ________________________________________ Module Module 1: Introduction to Project Management Topic Key Skills of the Project Manager The five process group for completing a project are: The project initiation, project plan, project execution plan, the project monitoring and controls, and the project close. The project size, duration in time and available resources can make project succeed. All project are unique, have common characteristics, which are group together to create the project profile and an optimum set of skills and experiences for the project manager and execution teams. ________________________________________ Module Module 1: Introduction to Project Management Topic Introduction to PM Knowledge Areas - Part 1 The internal attribute are the clarity of it scope, the complexity of its organization, and the agreement among its stakeholders which are within the control of the project manager. so many stakeholders tend to affect project complexity, the organizational decision making processes tend to influence the project complexity, the project scope define what is inside and outside project. All project are unique, have common characteristics, which are group together to create the project profile and an optimum set of skills and experiences for the project manager and execution teams The technology that uses renewable energy like solar cells and the location of building to the sun relative to the landscape to reduce water lost. The technology tested, project team brought experts to design and implement it. The project management must know the project environmental law, cultural, political, ecological and legal issues and local authorities that issuance work permits, building permits, project security, scheduling public holidays, maternity leave, adapting to new environment, licensees and some legal issue concerning project. Module 6: Communication Technologies Topic Selecting Software - Part 2 The part of the communication plan is determine by the type of computer software that will be used to create document, spreadsheet, diagrams and reports. The choice of the software depend on the complexity of the project. Low complexity project may be managed using general purpose word processing and spreadsheet software by using the special features for outline, managing data and inserting graphic objects. The spreadsheet displays data in rows and columns are cells into which texts, dates, numbers , financial data and formula can be entered that can be manipulated and spreadsheet can store data and information in an Excel File Format for example .xls format which is automatically attached file and saved. Using spreadsheet to manage data can by sorting and filtering data in options or buttons in decreasing or increasing order where display can restrict filters to display only those rows that meet criteria specified by the users like filter the data by a particular departments that were incurred between two days by finding subtotal bring two rows together and subtotal, grant total, rows and locums , graphic and Barr graphs diagrams and table can be inserted if necessary ________________________________________ Module Module 6: Communication Technologies Topic Selecting Software - Part 2 The part of the communication plan is determine by the type of computer software that will be used to create document, spreadsheet, diagrams and reports. Complex project involves people who are often separated by geographically and who contribute the same document to manage those task and relationship using dedicated project management software and more sophisticated diagram software is justified. Sharing team document created by team members help to mange control editing, saving to save time and lost of documents or confused. Most software make periodic backup to protect accidental power lost and the user can still loose a lot of work by replacing newer version of document with an older version. High complexity projects need more sophisticated project management software like p6 primaeval .Form can be created using XML tags that allow data to be extracted from the documents. File can be store in at a location that can be accessible by team members. They can be granted different .

The First assessment is quiet difficult for me especially on the Communication technologies, not fully aware of the communication technologies except the ICT through internet and other form of communication, Management questions are somewhat familiar considering I attended some management training and seminars, Thanks for completing my first assessment.

I have given up now. I have been through the course many times but cannot pass the test. Much of it is effectively a memory test only on very specific ordinary words that are not names, anacronyms, recognised models etc which you might be expected to remember, just ordinary words. This style of question just does not work. There are hundreds of slides and the test does not test comprehension, just memory, Maybe mine is not up to it anymore?! I am looking for another course, not wasting any more of my time. This is disappointing as I have taken and passed other Alison courses but this one is very amateur and also has mistakes in the questions.
