If Medieval Times were focusing in God, church an religion, the Renaissance was focusing man, art, nature, pleasure and those fields were very close to what we consider essential for modern tourism. It is important also to notice how the concept of leisure time is developing.

renaissance started in 16th century and from it the grand tour also started. it just all about going to places to check out their culture and some other things. a man called louke said if an environment has been exhausted, people will have to travel to another place to gain new knowledge there so people send their sons to other country to study and also know more about their culture. The term „renaissance‰ is derived from the French word for rebirth and originally referred to the revival of artistic values, especially in Italy. Later, the term came to mean a distinct historical period characterised by the rise of the individual, scientific inquiry and growth of worldly values. people travel to places to learn different things for example France is known for sculpture and painting.
