    sure that when using sharp there should be a finger gaurd between the handle and the steel...Always keep saws,cleaves and knives in racks when not been used

    Also, when cutting, avoid placing your fingers close to the knife or slicer as this could result into an accident

    Another way of cutting yourself is trying to cut half frozen meat, not recommended/never a wise move.
