    Is there anyway that the sole proprietor can remain independent of his/her business. So that if sued they can not go after her personal savings account. Would have a business account help to avoid such?

    If one uses their name they don't need to fill out a business name registration. What if the business name is different from the persons personal name and the person is still the sole owner of the business. Do it still make the business a sole proprietorship?

    Sole proprietorship is a small business owned by one person, using his/her name, same bank account unless registered at the trade registration office under a business name If a sole proprietorship is sued, the owner pays from his/her wallet

    I think there is a greater amount of risk being a sole proprietor because if something goes wrong the sole business owner can risk eating the cost of anything that goes wrong in the business.And if you don't insulate yourself by planning ahead this can be disastrous
