By failing to embrace change and work with a new set of circumstances instead of the old ones,
we miss wonderful opportunities.

nerdy programmer suddenly turn into the company’s best salesperson because, all of a
sudden, they have realised how to deal with people and they can now combine that skill with
their knowledge of the product.

Entrepreneurs need to ability to understand the work of the enterprise in detail while never
losing sight of the bigger picture. They need this ability in order to assist any member of their
organisation to overcome a problem at any level of the organisation. This is especially true of
the first three years of an enterprise’s life.

PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE
To succeed in enterprise, you need both patience and persistence.
Entrepreneurs are renowned for spotting opportunity. They are also renowned for knowing
when to cut their losses and when to sit and wait.
This implies a balance between the patience necessary for growth to occur and the impatience
necessary to keep things moving.
This impatience drives persistence. One needs to be always pushing to find a solution to every
challenge and an opportunity in every difficulty.
