The main bridge shown in this video is at Mawlynnong in the Khasi Hills where the predominantcommunity are the Khasi people.What is very interesting is that the community builds these structures and maintains themacross generations.Here is one other short clip from the Siang Valley in Arunachal Pradesh where the membersof the Adi Community of Damro Village gather together one every few years to renovate that1000 foot long suspension bridge and it turns in to a community festival to which everyone contributes.Let us have a look.
