Senior PHP Developer - Back End

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in a team-oriented environment to develop heavy loaded web-based applications with complex business logic
2. Architecture of solutions to be developed across front and back end development teams
3. Develop new tools and applications by translating business requirement into Alison's system design
4. Maintain and upgrade existing applications
5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change

Requirements:

1. Advanced experience in PHP and Laravel framework
2. Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases, MySQL experience is a plus
3. Understanding of best practices for REST API development and microservices architecture
4. Knowledge and experience in AWS suite of tools and services an advantage
5. Familiarity with the latest technologies and standards 
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a love of technical challenges
7. Must be self-motivated, and able to multitask across projects
8. Used to rapid development in Agile, and working with associated toolsets (JIRA, Confluence)
