I completed the Diploma in Nursing Studies, does it mean that I am a nurse?
Alison's courses focus on basic skills-based workplace learning, and our Certificate courses typically take 2-3 hours to complete, while Diploma courses take around 15 hours. The Diploma in Nursing studies is a great introduction to nursing, but it cannot be compared to a formal, accredited qualification of a Registered Nurse, which usually requires a degree and may take 3-4 years to complete in most countries.
The knowledge and skills gained through Alison's courses can still be valuable and may assist you in your application to accredited nursing programmes, or in pursuing related healthcare roles. It's essential to check the specific entry requirements of individual colleges or employers to determine how Alison's courses can support your career in nursing.
