    the course is very interesting>Alternative dispute resolution method avoids the challenges associated with resolving disputes through litigation method which is costlier and can be prolonged.It can be used to resolve dispute among business,employee,employer,land lord and tenant,consumer,divorce and transboundary pollution amongs others.It is isresolved by a neutral third party or by the parties themselves.The Alternative dispute redolution methods are negotiation,mediation,arbitration,mini_trials,hybrid forms of mediation_arbitration,using adr to resolve dispute is can benefit everyone .it is voluntary,flexible,confidential and private,it is low cost ,self directed and less formal,it focuses on what is important to you. I have learnt alternative dispute resolution and how to prepare for it ,what is expected and I also learnt about alternative dispute resolution practitioners and the benefit of ADR.It help to resolve all or some of the issues in the dispute ,it is a fair process ,it helps to achieve outcomes that work for both party in the dispute.parties should have an open mind and be respectfull ,no bad language,parties can come to the session with their lawyer or alternative didpute resolution practitioner and any person tey like ,the should mention to the practitioner,the process is confidential and whatever is discussed cannot be disclosed to another person without the consent of the party.I learnt about the 7 national principles of resolving disputes.ie self responsibility is the first step ,you can resolve your dispute in a simple and cost effective way as early as you can and you can also still go to court if you do not settle.parties should listen and participate in the process during sessions.
