I don't understand the Exhibit 51.
Weighted-average method of inventory costing is ending inventory using a weighted average unit cost to determine a cost for unites that are basically the same, such as indentical games in a toys stores or electrical tools in hardware store, sicne th units are alike, firms can assing the same unit cost to them
what's measuring and reporting inventory?
Can someone tell me the difference between the beginning inventory and ending inventory? for example, i counted 20 units on December 31 (ending year), why this should not be a beginning inventory on 1st January of the next year? i am asking this question because i am stack on the illustration EXHIBIT 50 under Four inventory costing Methods. why they are saying that the ending inventory is 20 units costing 181 and the beginning inventory is 10 units per $8 unit price, giving a total of $80? Please help!
TYPO on the LIFO cost of goods attachment: page 8 states FIFO INVENTORY when the calculation is for LIFO: I only mention it because it actually confused me when I was going over the modules. I am finding it a bit difficult to understand POWER POINT: PAGE 2 GOODS AVAILABLE FOR SALE 80 UNITS COST $690 PHYSICAL INVENTORY 20 UNITS AT THE END OF PERIOD SALES REVENUE 60 UNITS SOLD WAS $780.00 WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE 20 UNITS ? WHAT IS THE COST FOR THE 60 UNITS ? I don't understand how they were able to determine page 3 of the power point Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am confused with LIFO. in exhibit 53 the ending inventory composed should be March-2 & Dec 21as LIFO. then why it is showing the march-2 & beginning inventory???
