After completing this module, you will be able to:

• Describe what plywood is; how it is made; and the proper ways to store it
• Summarize what is meant by the grading of various building materials
• List the various kinds of building boards and engineered wood products used in the construction industry
• State what is meant by pressure-treated lumber
• Calculate the quantities of lumber and amount of sheet materials needed, by using the formulas provided for each
• Explain how concrete blocks are made
• Discuss the commercial construction methods
