Malcolm Knowles understood the purpose of teaching adults very well. When you teach adults you realize that they want knowledge applied immediately and the best way is to base the learning on real life situations. The adult's orientation should be challenging. Adults' life situations allow them to solve real problem scenarios. In that way learning becomes internalized and motivational. From my experience with teaching adults, I agree with Knowles' theory of Andragogy.
