To add a voice of dissent, from my experience I do not believe that ADHD is a real thing. Children who show ADHD-like symptoms are just responding to their environment and it is the jobs of parents and educators to improve so as to make the classroom and learning in general more engaging and better suited to all students. These behaviours are a reflection of our failings and shouldn't be 'fixed' by giving children drugs aimed to permanently change their brain chemistry so as they can 'fit in better'.

This lesson is very important and useful for anyone working with children. Understand and knowing the children that are under your care can help to obtain better information about the children.

I think being patience with a child with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, doing smaller task and movement breaks will help.
