I do not have physical goods to sell. but if I did, I would need to promote my location and contact info. I might also consider videos or clubs. The more I build my community, the more customers I may get

Three ways you can do that but more importantly use the Google+

Connect with local customers online by adding address, phone no, hours of operation etc on each page of your website. As well as getting social on google + business by presenting information about your business, products, location and being able to facilitate relationships between yourself and the customers by adding thoughts, links maybe run a group with the group video chat. Then get proactive with ratings and reviews thanking positive reviews and responding positively to negative reviews.
