    Not exactly $50 when u get the profit as you also pay the company dividend and also the rental fee.So it should be arount $40 right?

    Short selling when you borrows money from a broker selling it at a higher price, as soon as the price drops you buy the shares back at a lower price, pay back the borrowed money and keep the profit.

    Short selling is where you would borrow a share from a broker and sell it hopefully at high and when the share price for the share drops, buy back the share and give the share back the broker. the profits would be yours
