    Inversions are very scary, and should be approached with caution and always with a skilled guide. There are many contradictions when it comes to inversion poses, so be very aware of them. For anyone saying they can't reach this level of yoga, I wouldn't give up due to the difficulty of it -- try and try again! Practice your preparatory poses and trust me, you will get there, and the feeling of achievement is very rewarding. I was on cloud 9 when I finally got up! Now, if it's another reason that headstands are not available to you then that's a totally different thing, work with variations -- the downward dog is a good enough inversion. Now, for those who just "can't' do this, you won't with that mindset. I did my first full headstand at the age of 40, and I have advanced to be able to do all except for transitioning like she did to the scorpion, that just scares me, and I honestly see lots of injury to the neck when she returns to headstand-- just my opinion. She obviously has a ton of skill and strength but showing this in a beginner level course is dangerous, and there will be people who may try it and injury their neck, yikes! Good luck all!

    A safety queue she didn't give for Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand), and trust me -- you will want to make your class very aware of this is NEVER turning your head while in full pose. The neck is in a vulnerable place, and students will want to look at you (the instructor) or someone else in the class. I always remind them not to turn their heads, and I show the pose before they attempt it on their own.
