Physical Education - Intrinsic/extrinsic influences on fitness attitudes:
socio-economic status

Socio-economic status

* Studies have shown that white-collar workers are the most active.

* People who are sufficiently educated often have the finance, together
with the motivation for physical activity. Research has shown that people
who have a degree are more likely to participate in physical activity than
someone leaving school in Year 10.

* Many blue-collar workers believe that they do sufficient physical
activity during work hours. This may certainly be the case in many
instances.
