Ways of viewing the environment: indigenous people:- Indigenous people have a kinship with the land that is identified with the self. They don't see a separation between themselves and the land. Rather, they have an understanding that they are simply a part of the land. This relationship contrasts to that of the majority of western culture. However, more and more, people are beginning to see the wisdom of the indigenous concept of kinship with a greater focus on the mysterious ways in which we may be linked to the web of life.
