Physics - Terminal velocity

Terminal velocity

As an object falls it increases its speed, but air resistance increases as
speed increases. Therefore the object will accelerate until the air
resistance equals the object's weight. At this point the net force on the
object is zero and the acceleration is zero. The object will continue
falling with a constant velocity - the terminal velocity.
