Parallel circuits: worked example 2

The two globes in the previous example are connected in a parallel circuit
to the same supply, as shown. Will they glow brighter or dimmer than
previously?

When the two globes are wired in parallel they will glow considerably
brighter (and the battery will go flat much sooner).
