One way of measuring blood alcohol levels involves blowing a breath sample
through an acidified aqueous solution of dichromate Cr2O7(aq) ions. Ethanol
CH3CH2OH in the breath sample is oxidised to ethanoic acid CH3COOH and
dichromate ions are reduced to Cr(aq) ions.

Write the oxidation and reduction half-equations and the overall redox
equation for the reaction occurring.
