The Immune System

The immune system (use mouse to reveal all labels). Note that T Helper
cells activate the Cytotoxic T cells and the B cells that produce
antibodies.

Humoral immunity and cell-mediated immunity are two important aspects of
the body's immune system .

As well as T and B cells, the body also produces defence cells called
natural killer cells. They seem to recongise surface features on target
cells (usually virus-infected or tumor cells) and destroy the cells with
cytotoxins.
