Behaviour

Reduce surface area to lower heat loss, for example:

* curling or coiling up, or huddling

* spreading out of body parts to increase heat loss

* reducing or increasing contact with hot or cold surfaces

* moving in and out of sun and shade

Think about how you feel, what you do and look like when you get too hot
or too cold for comfort. Hyperthermia [1] (heatstroke) refers to the
condition in which body temperature is continually too high; hypothermia if
too low.

Huddling reduces exposed body surface areas
