Some parasites rely on more than one host in their life cycle. This has
the advantage of reducing the dependence on one host that may not survive
an attack, and therefore the parasite would not survive! A disadvantage
would be that the larval or intermediate stages have to find the next host.
They may not!
Primary host: the organism that is host to the adult, sexually reproducing
