Are workers trained effectively to perform this task or are skilled workers hired in order to save on cost for training them?

An example of two different devices that have similar functions can be Tablets and Laptops,, the phase of processing information with tablets is smaller compared with that of laptops. Again, laptops will be more effective and efficient than tablets given that they store more information due to their size.

progressive miniaturisation has has resulted in outstanding technological achievements, particularly in the field of information processing, Many medical applications may have been handicapped because the designs were large. so Designers are having to come up with smaller systems to allow access to the body via minimally invasive techniques and to pack more functions in a given volume to save weight, allow portability. For instance, the typical heart pacemaker/defibrillator design of yesteryear did not easily fit in the chest, protruding out with a large and unsightly lump. The drive for smaller components, gave us a pacemaker that fit reasonably in one's chest cavity. Many types of devices help people with disabilities perform various tasks, as a result of our miniaturisation efforts It is rewarding to see our technology truly changing the lives of people with special needs, e.g. in case of those who are prone to getting lost. The increase in flexible and portable equipment has also expanded the office environment into areas outside the traditional office such as on-site locations, vehicles and the home. Occupational health and safety practices need to keep pace with the rapid changes in office-based work. This has lead to greater productivity enabling users to focus on the task they must do and not on the mobile device and operating system they are currently using. voice is a new trend to interact with the phone using the enablement of hands-free calling, and reduces Safety hazards in the work place , such as loss of concentration leading to accidents arise when people try to perform additional activities at the same time as using a mobile phone, e.g. while driving.

The advent of miniaturisation has allowed many pieces of equipment to be recreated in ever-smaller packages. Often, this is done with the intention of making information more portable. Recent items designed to make information access easier include mobile telephones, personal organisers and palm-top computers. One impact of these smaller items of technology has been the necessity to develop different methods to operate them.

Users of these products must learn different operating skills to compensate for the size of the equipment.
