    guys i got confused in this part. we have phases before SDLC like : investigation , planing and design ...etc now we will study another phases like : planing , analysis , ....etc how i can split these phases .. i think i will mix when they ask me about planing phase in general and planing phase in SDLC. what do you think?

    I find the planning phase to be the most interesting and necessary part of the project, as it lays a foundation for the project, allowing one to manage who will be doing what and when. If done effectively the rest of the development life cycle should run very smoothly.

    Without planning phase, most project can fail and this leads to either great performance or weak performance.

    The planning phase will normally follow a sequence of steps including: recognising the problem defining the problem setting project objectives identifying constraints conducting feasibility studies creating project proposals establishing control mechanisms.
