    Viruses are tiny particles made out of DNA and RNA. They infect cells and force them to produce more viruses. There is debate among scientists as to whether viruses are living or not.

    In my opinion they are a domain of structurally alternative microorganisms entirely parasitic and dependent on cells for their survival and reproduction. Perhaps they are all nucleus or all cytoplasm and mitochondria or an undifferentiated mesh of these, with the wastes from their feeding and reproduction populations often accumulating toxins in and to cells and complex cell structures of their cellular hosts.
