The Alison App Introduces New Filters and a Sorting Feature, Helping Learners Find and Continue Courses More Easily

Thursday, 16th July 2026

GALWAY, IRELAND - 2026-07-16

Alison has added new filter and sorting options to its App, making it easier for Learners to find courses that match how they prefer to study and return to courses already in progress.

The update introduces a sorting option for enrolled courses, giving Learners the option to organise courses in progress by most recently studied or most complete. It also adds a search filter that lets Learners specify whether they prefer video-based or text-based courses when choosing what to enrol in next.

A Simpler Way to Manage Courses in Progress

Learners often have more than one course underway. The new sorting option gives them a quicker way to decide which one to continue.

Sorting by most recently studied prioritises active learning sessions for immediate continuity, while sorting by most complete helps them focus on completing their courses. Both options are designed to make the App feel easier to navigate during everyday learning moments.

Course Search That Fits Different Learning Styles

Learners do not all study in the same way. Some prefer video-based courses, while others prefer text-based learning that they can read through at their own pace.

The new course filter gives mobile users a more direct route to the kind of course experience they want. By letting Learners set a learning-style preference while searching, the App can help them make a better choice before they enrol.

Small Navigation Improvements That Reduce Friction

The update is part of Alison's continued work to make the mobile learning experience simpler, clearer, and more responsive to how Learners actually use the App.

Together, filters and the sorting feature make the Alison App more useful for people who are managing their courses around busy schedules and changing priorities.
