hey everyone Farah from zoom here onthis brief video we're gonna show youhow you can leverage our breakout roomfeature to take a large meeting orvirtual classroom and split it up intosmaller groups or sessions you'll seethat I have already enabled the breakoutroom feature which you can find in yoursettings along the bottom and thatbreakout room button will actually beright here this is a button that onlyyour hosts or co-hosts will be able tosee and right now we don't have aco-host in the session if I manage myparticipants I can hover over Katherinefor example to make her a co-hostso she'll see this button as well whenwe're ready to split the group intosmaller sessions I can easily click thisbutton to get a pop-up window asking mehow many rooms I'd like to assign outand how many participants per room forthis example it's recommending sincethere are six people we can split it upinto two rooms I can do thisautomatically or manually so we click onthe automatic button it'll create it'llgenerate those breakout rooms for uscertainly if there's anyone I want toswap out maybe I want to move Michael tothe other room I can exchange him for adifferent participant once I'm ready toopen all rooms I'll click this open allrooms button and our participants willbe able to join the sessions that we'vecreated for them so we'll slowly seethose people join one thing that'sreally important to note is that as ahost or a co-host you can actually hopbetween the different rooms to talk tothe participants you can see here I havethe join button now everybody's left togo to the rooms I can broadcast amessage to everybody and say wrapping upin one minute and this will broadcastthe message and then I can close therooms which gives them a 1-minute timerto rejoin our session we'll giveeverybody a second to rejoin and I'llshow you one or two additional featureswith breakout roomsyouthere we go we can kind of see everybodykind of pop it back in now everybody'srejoining the main session you'll seethat I have the opportunity to reopenthese rooms again which is really greatif you have a very long session or avery long virtual class you can splitinto these virtual smaller groups asoften as you'd like and the additionaloptions here will allow you toautomatically close breakout rooms aftera specified amount of time you can alsochange the Cowtown timer to be 30seconds or two minutes if you like I'llshow you a setting where you can alsopre assign folks to be in your breakoutroom before the classroom starts you'llwant to navigate over to the classthat's already been created in your zoomportal under the meetings tab you canfind your meeting scrolling all the wayto the bottomyou'll see if we open this to re-edit itI have the opportunity to pre assign abreakout room here and I can create therooms and upload a CSV with all of myparticipants in advance so that theirnames are already populated in the roomwhen I start the session that'sbasically how you can run breakout roomswe hope you found this video helpful ifyou have any additional questions pleasevisit us at support zoomed-out us thanksso much for watchingtake care
