  • OGIERIAKHI ENOMA
OGIERIAKHI ENOMA Nigeria i believe that behavioral based safety looks critically at humans/personnel behaviors with regards to actions in carrying out daily duties or task, putting into consideration behavior that can be translated into safety interventions Safety Behavior. One major dilemma in safety is that people often find unsafe behavior is 'rewarding' in some way (e.g. the job is done quicker, more comfort in working not wearing PPE, etc) coopered with the the time saved that should have been used in closing out Unsafe conditions. i am of the opinion that behavioral base safety can be improved through training personnel to be safety conscious in following safe work procedure, constant supervision by a safety officer and reward given to those the best of behaviors at work. 2016-07-27 15:07:32

Aluko Timothy IDipNEBOSH,OSHA,AISPON,IOSH,IRCA Nigeria I think behavioral based safety has to do with the way human being relate with their work. Their response to duty call, relationship with others at work, interaction with living and non-living creatures at work, obedience to safety rules and regulations, compliance to local authority and intervening to unsafe conditions and actions around. Summary of it all is to check on how personnel behavior at work contributes to the safety of the overall workplace. 2016-07-27 09:07:58
