  • This second installment of the Outdoor Education course examines the environmental impact of human activity and conservation, environmental management and sustainable living in the context of aboriginal Australia.

    This lesson is particularly valuable for those interested in adventure sports, outdoor activities and managing the environment for recreational purposes.

  • Upon completion of this course you will be able to: - Discuss land commodity and the different views of the way we treat our environment; - Describe the World Conservation Strategy and management for conservation; - Identify different types of land uses such as commercial, recreational, conservation and the conflicts that can occur between these land choices today; - and discuss the importance of land to the Aboriginal people of Australia and the respect and love they have for their land.
