Halal means permitted or lawful and specifies what foods are allowed and how the food must be prepared. With this course, you will learn what foods are permissible for Muslim to eat or drink under Islamic Sharia (law). It will also discuss how the Muslim regard hygiene as an important topic and the act of washing requires the use of running water either from a tap or poured from a pitcher.

You will then learn that you must not disrespect the name of Allah, Koran, Prophet Muhammad, or other Muslim saints. You must not say anything offensive about the Middle East, its religion, or its citizens. You will also learn that you must avoid becoming familiar with male employers and male household workers. In addition, you will learn that you must avoid drinking intoxicating beverages in public, avoid gambling, refrain from carrying pornographic objects, and more!

When in the Middle East, you must do what they do and observe what they observe. Upon the completion of this course, you will gain a better understanding of their social and cultural etiquette allowing you to easily follow the dos and don'ts.
