  • This second installment of the free Outdoor Education course examines the environmental impact of human activity and conservation, environmental management and sustainable living in the context of aboriginal Australia. This lesson is particularly valuable for those interested in adventure sports, outdoor activities and managing the environment for recreational purposes.

  • On completion of this course you will understand land commodity and the different views of the way we treat our environment. You will gain a knowledge of the World Conservation Strategy and management for conservation. You will know the different types of land uses such as commercial, recreational, conservation and the conflicts that can occur between these land choices today. This course will teach you the importance of land to the Aboriginal people of Australia and the respect and love they have for their land.

  • All Alison courses are free to study. To successfully complete a course you must score 80% or higher in each course assessments. Upon successful completion of a course, you can choose to make your achievement formal by purchasing an official Alison Diploma, Certificate or PDF.
