  • The third module of the free online course Microsoft Digital Literacy describes the common features and commands of different productivity programs. It also explains how to work with various categories of productivity programs, such as word processors, spreadsheets, presentation programs, and database programs.

  • Upon completion of this course you will learn how to use the graphical user interface, pointer, toolbars, keyboard techniques and formatting text. You will know how to use a word processor, work with tables, and proofread documents. You will gain a basic knowledge of desktop publishing, spreadsheets, presentations and databases.

  • All Alison courses are free to study. To successfully complete a course you must score 80% or higher in each course assessments. Upon successful completion of a course, you can choose to make your achievement formal by purchasing an official Alison Diploma, Certificate or PDF.
