“<\/span>My name is Mustapha Momoh Lamin, a Sierra Leonean. I am 38 years old. After high school, I went to a polytechnic college where I obtained a certificate in Business Studies. Life was not easy for me and I struggled a lot until I got a job as a cleaner with GOAL-Sierra Leone during the Ebola emergency. l later got another contract job with GOAL-SL as an office assistant. Here I was introduced to Alison.”<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you learn about Alison?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I came to know about Alison when a member of our Mechanical & Electrical staff, a man by the name of Omenga, told me about Alison’s free courses. He said he had completed a course concerning <\/span>working with children with special needs<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What was your first course on Alison, and why did you choose it?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My first course on Alison was a course on <\/span>human resources management<\/span><\/a>. I choose it because I wanted to develop my career in that area. I started working with GOAL-SL as an office assistant, with the intention of moving to Human Resources at a point in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

How have Alison courses affected your career?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Alison’s courses have improved my life. I have completed more tha<\/span>n 6 courses on Alison <\/span>and they have helped me to get a job. Through Alison, I have gained diplomas in <\/span>Human Resources Management<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Health Studies<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Project Management<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>EU Public Procurement<\/span>, <\/span>Supply Chain Management<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Community Development<\/span><\/a> and a <\/span>Certificate in Job Searching Skills<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favourite way to relax from studying?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My favourite way to relax after studying is to listen the radio and spend some time on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where are you working and what are you studying now?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am presently working with GOAL-SL as a Community Mobilizer. I am also currently studying four different courses on Alison: the <\/span>Guide to Zoom Video Conferencing course<\/span><\/a>, the <\/span>Diploma in Supervision<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Delivering Community Development<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Planning Promotional programs<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s next for you, in terms of education and work?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to develop my career and to pursue Community Development Studies or Development Studies at a higher level because it will help me get to the level of managerial positions.<\/span><\/p>\n

What would you say to someone if they asked you about Alison? Would you recommend it and why?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would say that Alison is a free learning platform that can help you learn any course of your choice and without any boundaries. They are well known around the globe and their certificates and diplomas are credible.<\/span><\/p>\n
