A New Managing Safety Course Available Now on ALISON
ALISON, in partnership with Praxis42, a leading health and safety training company, has launched a new e-learning Managing Safety course for managers in businesses of all sizes. This course is available on ALISON at http://alison.com/courses/Safety. The course covers all of the main elements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
The Managing Safety course covers the UK Health and Safety Executive’s guidance note ‘Successful Health and Safety Management’ (HSG65), with the aim to improve the understanding of management of health and safety in the workplace. The course provides managers with all of the essential information they need to manage health and safety in their area of responsibility and control.
Managers are frequently criticised for failing to take their policy duties and legal responsibilities seriously, but often this is because they simply don’t have the knowledge and understanding of what is required of them. Managing Safety from ALISON and Praxis42 is a comprehensive training course that covers everything managers need to know to understand their responsibilities for health, safety and environmental issues in their workplace and how to apply them.
