What are the Steps for Participating AET Partners?
Step 1 Learn how to use ALISON Manager. ALISON Manager is a free-to-use learning management system. You can use ALISON Manager to track your learners and monitor their performance.
Step 2 Decide how much to charge learners. This is decided by you. If you decide to charge a small fee for the programme, we ask that it is appropriate to the learners in your area. You retain 100% of this income.
Step 3 Publicise the course. Once registered, you will need to tell people about your programme and the IT skills training you are offering and are a part of.
Step 4 Invite learners to join. Once registered, you may set up a learner group specifically for your learners and invite them to enrol in it. Online forums are available on ALISON to assist in this process.
Step 5 Support your learners. ALISON learning is completed through self-paced interactive multimedia so that learners can continue at their own pace once they are confident. You can help by encouraging your learners, making sure that they are comfortable and confidently progressing through their course.
Step 6 Present your learners with certificates of completion ALISON learners need to achieve an 80% grade average on course assessments to be awarded a certificate of completion. Certificates can be printed by learners free-of-charge at www.alison.com; however you can generate income for both ALISON and your own programme by promoting official graduation parchments, T-shirts and hoodies (which can be co-branded if you wish should you have sufficient volume requirements).
