This programme rewards you for sharing the great news of free online courses available from www.ALISON.com

Remember, many ALISON learners study several courses and purchase several certificates.

A record of referred commission will be available at all times in the "My Account" section, simply log in and view your Referral Report.

Benefits of joining the Programme

By engaging in this programme you will be helping people whom you refer to:

· Gain skills and improve their career prospects and/or quality of life

· Embark on a lifelong learning journey

· Become part of a world-leading free learning community.

In doing so, you are availing of the opportunity to earn referral income for you or for your organisation.

Who will be interested?

The ALISON Referral Programme allows people and organisations to receive a financial return from introducing new learners.

1. Libraries & Community Training Centres
Libraries and community training centres worldwide already refer many tens of thousands of learners to ALISON each year.

2. Schools & Colleges
Many schools & colleges promote ALISON courses to their students, often as complementary learning to courses being taken at their respective institutions, sometimes as part of the official curriculum.

3. Trainers & Tutors
If you are a trainer or tutor, you may encourage your students to study with ALISON. Some of these people are likely to go on to purchase a certificate on completion of their course(s). As the ALISON free-learning course portfolio expands, the opportunity for trainers and tutors will expand.

4. Home-Based Entrepreneurs
If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and marketing skill-set, and you would like to earn extra income online, then the ALISON Referral Programme might be for you.

5. Community Workers

You may know people within your own local community, or may be part of an industry or professional network, through which you could promote the ALISON service. You can, for instance, receive credit for signing up ALISON learners by virtue of linking an ALISON free-learning advertisement on your website. (See Website Marketing below).

Why become an ALISON referral partner?

In January 2011 ALISON was recognised by UNESCO who rewarded ALISON for "providing a new world of free online learning opportunities to improve employment flexibility and skills worldwide".

The benefits of becoming an ALISON referral partner are as follows:

  • You can provide a wider education opportunity to more people for free.
  • You will be extending the training you offer by 150 courses (and growing).

Joining the ALISON Referral Programme

Participation in this programme could not be easier.

First, you must first be registered as a learner with ALISON.com. If you wish to register as an organisation, include the organisation details instead of personal details.

Then proceed to the 'My Account' page and select ‘Referral Report’. Your unique Referral Code will be displayed, together with your ‘Referral Link’.

You can refer people to ALISON in two different ways:

1. Email your ‘Referral Link’ provided on the ‘Referral Info’ section of the 'My Account' page, to the person(s) you wish to refer. When they click on the link and register, they will automatically be recorded as ‘referred’ by you.

OR

2. Share your Referral Code with the person(s) you wish to introduce; as they register they will have the opportunity to include this Referral Code. By entering this code, they are recorded as ‘referred’ by you.

Remember to view your Referral Report to see how many people you have referred and the commission you have earned.
