An Online Programme for Digital-Age Learners
Online Learning
The Financial Literacy course is fully accessible online. Learners can access the course at any time and from any place that there is an internet connection. This means that learning is not dependent on school or work schedules, or computer lab availability.
Interactive
The Financial Literacy course presents key financial concepts using interactive multimedia. The use of financial calculators, a glossary of terms, and game-based interactions make this a dynamic learning experience.
Self-Paced
All of our courses are intuitive and lend themselves perfectly to both self-paced and blended-learning environments. In blended environments, instructors can assist those needing help the most. All learners can progress at the rate they are most comfortable with as the system gives each learner the flexibility to learn at their own pace, with navigation that allows them to easily locate and review specific information.
Standards-Mapped
Course objectives have been aligned with rigorous national standards such as the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy’s National Standards, and the U.S. Department of Treasury’s criteria for effective Financial Literacy education programmes.
Affordable
The Financial Literacy course is free to the individual and can be accessed by any institutions using the ALISON Manager premium service. As it is web-delivered there are no hardware costs. It can be delivered online asynchronously, without the need for formal classes, lectures, seminars or individual counselling.
Self-Directed Learning
Learners access the course whenever they want. Most lessons are completed in less than fifteen minutes, so it’s easy to complete the entire course in a week or two with just a few minutes each day. Learner-driven navigation allows learners to explore topics at their own pace and to the depth they need.
