Systems analysis and development, project management, online marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and data management.

Working with the management team, the Online Business Analyst represents a key integration point between business area experts and delivery. Responsibilities include systems requirements analysis and design, producing requirements documentation, liaising with stakeholders and delivering developments to the service.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • You are a professional business analyst with expertise gained from working as a self–starter and have five or more years in a business analyst role.
  • You can demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and fact-finding skills.
  • You are personable and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have the ability to lead by coordinating the requirements, specifications, design, and testing efforts, and will prepare detailed test plans and test data for systems as required.
  • You can expertly use word processors, spreadsheets, e-mail, presentation software, database programs, database marketing and e-commerce tools.
  • You understand the report development environment.
  • You are fluent in English.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders and the management team to identify, analyze and document service requirements in a clear, concise and detailed manner.
  • Perform detailed system analysis and or process analysis to include SEO implementation, trend analysis, data analysis, data mining, Google AdWords.
  • Finalize and communicate to management the gap analysis for requirements that will not be included in planned releases.
  • Interact with IT/Systems Development to communicate requirements and as part of the team ensure the design specifications meet business functional enhancements.
  • Liaise with IT/Systems Development team to ensure testing adequately captures business requirement specifications.
  • Provide ongoing support and report regularly on programme engagement to Management and the Programme and Project Managers.
  • Demonstrate leadership by coordinating the requirements gathering and development of specifications for small to large projects.
  • Assist in the development of detailed test plans and test data for systems as required.

ALISON HQ, Galway, Ireland.
