Working at Height

This module covers the range of hazards that need to be considered in typical working at height activities, the control of risks, undertaking assessments and visual inspections, and relevant equipment such as ladders, scaffolding and Mobile Elevating Platforms (MEWPs) to meet the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations. We have provided a complete description of the module, syllabus details and a description of why online learning is a very important strategy for delivering health and safety training. This module is available free for individual use and at a low-cost to others using ALISON Manager.

Trainees are shown how to establish a safe system of work, undertake risk assessments before commencing work and use the equipment and systems of work put in place to control risks. This module has a number of interactive sections and visual examples as well as staged assessment of learning.
