Our Noise Awareness module provides you with an appreciation of the requirements of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, explanation of noise action levels, the harm that noise that can cause to individuals and compliance with the statutory requirement to train those exposed to noise at work.

The module is aimed at managers and employees and it guides them through how noise is generated, the effects on the ear from noise, and the range of controls required to meet regulatory requirements.

Trainees are shown in a graphic way how noise will affect them over time and motivate them to use the controls put into place in the workplace. This module has a number of interactive sections which include audio and visual examples in addition to staged assessment of learning.
