  • Anne Kibirige Uganda In the previous reviews, I highlighted the issue of positive health and negative health. Positive health involves the intake of foods that are rich in various vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that promote good health in the human body. Vitamins are crucial in all body functions in order to maintain positive health. To avoid Ill health in the human body, one should constantly feed on fruits, grains, nuts, and vegetables because these contain the nutrients of vitamins and minerals that the body requires to be healthy. The recommended daily allowance for each of these nutrients should be considered to ensure that the body acquires enough nutrients. Some foods are harmful to human health and these should be avoided because they destroy nutrients in the body, hence causing negative health which in the long run may lead to chronic illnesses like cardiovascular diseases, cancer, to mention but a few. With such illnesses, one's life expectancy is low. If the human health is carefully maintained, the life expectancy will be high. Human health should be properly maintained by the right balance between the various nutrients in the normal everyday foods. 2015-01-29 09:01:52
