I am delighted that you have chosen to take the online course ‘An Introduction to Managing Safety and Health in Schools’ from the Health and Safety Authority.

The Authority is delighted to offer this short course (two hours) as an aid to school principals, safety officers, safety reps, teachers and Boards of Management, in their understanding of workplace safety, health and welfare. We are all responsible for safety at some level and the more we understand it the better prepared we are to prevent injury and loss at work.

Further courses will follow in the coming weeks for post-primary teachers of science and technologies subjects as well as for TY students and those in third level construction-related programmes.
